Baseball Fever.

This book is for those who succumb to a curious disease in early spring: baseball fever. It's a fun but provocative look at the sport back in a time in Michigan's local history when the sport's name was two words (base ball) not one, the players were either paid very little or not at all, and the distinction between hometown fans and players was quite blurred or not made at all.
