First program is ready for downloading

In another first for Riprap, we have put a whole interview on-line for you to sample. The on-line version of our program is a large file at almost 30 megabytes, so a fast connection to download is best. The video is in the Quicktime format.

Ann Arbor Reads

Riprap participates in the Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti Reads project.

We interviewed two featured authors, Dr. Beverly Daniel Tatum and Philip Reilly.

Ann Arbor Book Festival

Yes, we have had our own booth in the Ann Arbor Book Festival each spring and have enjoyed spending delightful afternoons meeting viewers, authors, and people interested in our effort to support academic authors.

New Riprap Web Site!

Are we ever excited! After years of hard work with our own web master and media consultant, Daniel Schaefer, and the WebConnect Program at the NEW (Non-Profit Enterprise) Center, we've launched a greatly improved Riprap web site. Our improvements include:

• A list that rates the books we receive. This service is intended to be helpful and point out the lates in interesting and evocative research.

• Soon to come: audio and video podcasts with academic authors around the world.
